Can I take phentermine with other medications?

This depends on the medication – some medications can be taken alongside phentermine with no problems, but in some cases it can be very dangerous to take phentermine if you are taking certain medications.

During your consultation with the doctor prescribing phentermine, you should disclose all information about medications you are currently taking so your doctor is fully aware of any potential for drug interactions. It is possible that your doctor will not be able to prescribe phentermine if there is a possibility that phentermine could cause a harmful interaction. If your medications change or you are prescribed a new medication while you are taking phentermine then you should always ask your doctor or doctors if it is safe to take phentermine alongside this new medication.
