"I was a size 7/8 and weighed 135 to 140 lb. I had 3 children and went to 222lb and a size 20 and I had a very bad problem with over-eating.
My husband was not attracted to my body anymore. I was not either. I did not feel good and always wore black or dark brown colors. I hated buying clothes. I had to shop on the plus side in the stores. I decided to do something but I knew that all the diets I tried did not work for me. So I went to my doctor and she gave me phentermine. I started taking it in November and I am still taking it.

I am getting better at eating what I should, and the right amount without feeling hungry all the time. It is hard to do it by yourself when you are used to eating 5000 cals or so a day - I am guessing on that because I never counted them before. Before I was on phentermine, I was gaining weight so I know that I was eating more than 2500 cals a day. Now I count my cals and and I do not feel like I am starving. I have tried to lose weight before when trying other diets, and I would do really well for the first 3 weeks but eventually with little or no weight loss. I always felt hungry. I would eat 1500 cals a day but would be tired and hungry throughout the day. Now I have the energy and I am not hungry anymore.

My husband is in the Army and is in Alaska. He has not seen me since I was 222 lbs. He knows I have lost 50 lb but has not seen me yet, only in the photos. I want it to be a gift for him when he sees me thin again. I still need to lose 30 to 35 lbs. I will do it."

What is the most rewarding part of your new lifestyle?
Jenny
Being able to run and play with my children and not feeling tired all the time. I like to hear my husband say I look good. And hearing his co-workers in the background saying I look hot when he shows my photos to them. It is nice to hear others say it too.

Do you have any words of advice for the Phentermine.com community?

You should start to eat well and work out as soon as you can, so when you come off it, you will be used to this healthier lifestyle, preventing you from gaining all the weight back. My sister did not eat well and when she came off it, she gained all of the weight back in a few months. I know when I stop taking the Phentermine I will still eat 1500 cals a day because I am used to it. I do not think I could have done it without Phentermine because I had tried for 2 years and only managed to lose 10 lbs.
